Claire is a young ecologist with a background in grassland ecology and GIS analysis. She spent the summer of 2020 working remotely with the Mountain Lakes Research Group to upload historical lake data to the Environmental Data Initiative repository. In the past, Claire’s research has focused on invasive grass management in Marin County and causes of avian decline in California. She is currently a Restoration Biologist with River Partners, working to restore riparian systems in the Central Valley. When she’s not designing restoration plans, you can find Claire hunting for rare grass species, cooking new recipes, and avoiding mosquitos while hiking in the San Joaquin Valley.
